The state of Michigan presented Deborah K. Schlussel with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #79 found Debbie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Neglected legal matters entrusted to her

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Debbie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $758.20.
