Attorney Paul Condino of Southfield, MI; thieving slacker

The state of Michigan provided Paul F. Condino with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

FYI: The University Detroit is ranked as the 164th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel No. 79 found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to perform contracted for services for two clients
  • Falsely advised family member of client that hearing was scheduled on application for commutation of sentence when in fact he never filed said application
  • Failed to return client file upon termination
  • Failed to refund unearned fees upon termination (thief)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Paulie!)
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to seek the lawful objectives of the client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to explain the matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license, ordered he pay $2,250 in restitution and costs of $819.36.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Paulie practices with the Law Offices of Paul F. Condino PC at 21170 Winchester Street in Southfield, Michigan.
