The state of Michigan presented Johnny L. Hawkins with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Michigan State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #74 found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to make reasonably diligent efforts to comply with a legally proper discovery request by an opposing party
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed $757.83 in costs.
