Attorney Mark Demorest of Royal Oak, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan presented Mark S. Demorest with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #63 found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly pay/deliver funds belonging to client or third person
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Mark practices with the Demorest Law Firm PLLC at 322 West Lincoln Avenue in Royal Oak, Michigan.
