Attorney Elaine Baltas of Worcester, MA; repeat offender

The state of Massachusetts presented Elaine Evthoxia Baltas with a law license in 1992. 

The Board of Bar Overseers found Elaine guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly account to client for funds owing to client
• Failed to promptly disburse settlement funds to client
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to reconcile client trust accounts every sixty days

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Elaine’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Elaine by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Elaine practices with the Worcester Housing Authority at 40 Belmont Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
