Attorney Sheila Tierney of New Bedford, MA; crook

The state of Massachusetts presented Sheila Marie Tierney with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Boston College Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Sheila guilty of the following misconduct

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to promptly make estate disbursements to beneficiaries
• Delayed settlement of estate for over eight (8) years
• Failed to promptly file fiduciary income tax returns
• Failed to pay income taxes for at least 2 years
• Charged and collect excessive fee (crook)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Sheila by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Sheila practices with the Tierney Law Office at 26 Seventh Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
