Attorney Michael Johnson of Weymouth, MA; ethical troll

The state of Massachusetts presented Michael A. Johnson with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Negligently misused client settlement funds
• Failed to comply with the rules governing IOLTA accounts
• Incorrectly held settlement funds in his law firm operating account rather than an IOLTA account
• Intentionally commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly disburse client’s share of settlement funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2019) Mikey practices with Johnson Law and Pip Recovery Service at 255 Main Street in South Weymouth, Massachusetts.
