Attorney Steven Charlip of Weston, MA; ignoramus, slacker

The state of Massachusetts presented Steven Louis Charlip with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Virginia Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep records for his IOLTA account as required
• Failed to maintain a chronological check register with a client identifier for each transaction
• Failed to perform a three-way reconciliation at least every sixty days
• Commingled client/third party funds with personal funds
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (ignoramus)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Stevie practices with Steven L. Charlip LLC at 83 Ridgeway Road in Weston, New Hampshire.
