Attorney Anthony DiFruscia of Methuen, MA; ethical gremlin

The state of Massachusetts presented Anthony R. DiFruscia with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from the New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file accounts in estate matter
• Failed to marshal of an estate’s assets
• Failed to distribute marshaled assets in timely manner to heirs
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to seek lawful client objectives through available means
• Failed to prepare inventory or any accounts in estate matter
• Failed to file any required tax returns or affidavit on to tax due in estate matter
• Divulged client confidences
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Tony practices with the DiFruscia Law Office at 302 Broadway in Methuen, Massachusetts.
