Attorney Charles James III of Rockville, MD; thieving loser

The DC Bar presented Charles M. James III with a law license in 1993. Charlie was also presented with a law license from the state of Maryland in 1994.

The Maryland Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated (stole) client funds
• Failed to deposit client retainer in escrow account
• Faield to communicate with client
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Charlie!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Maryland Supreme Court punished Charlie by revoking his law license.

However, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel saw fit to allow Charlie to continue to practice law rather than revoking his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Charlie practices with James & Company at 9717 Overlea Drive in Rockville, Maryland.
