Attorney Sari Kurland of Rockville, MD; ethical troll

The state of Maryland presented Sar Karson Kurland with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Sari guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to adequately communicate with her client
• Failed to memorialize a contingent fee arrangement in a writing signed by her client
• Failed to comply with attorney trust account record-keeping
• Failed to issue invoices in a timely or regular manner
• Failed to maintain proper records of escrow transactions

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Anne by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Sari practices her so-called brand of law at 211 Jersey Lane in Rockville, Maryland.
