Attorney Joseph Chukla Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; ethical gnome

The state of Maryland presented Joseph Chukla Jr. with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joey failed to take reasonable measures to ensure that the attorney he hired as a consultant and expert witness made full and complete disclosures to the heirs of real property and the Orphan’s Court relating to the transfer of said real property.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2018) Joey practices at 21310 Leiters Mill Road in Hagerstown, Maryland.
