Attorney Maxwell Cohen of Crownsville, MD; ethical goblin

The state of Maryland presented Maxwell Clifford Cohen with a law license in 1991. (law school omitted to limt embarassment to alumni) 

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Maxie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to take appropriate measures to investigate an out-of-state law firm prior to his “of counsel” association with the law firm that was operating a loan modification scheme
• Provided out-of-state firm with information about those attending a town hall meeting without authorization to disclose said information
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Maxie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Maxie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. Janaury 2018) Maxie practices with the Law Office of Maxwell C. Cohen LLC at 608 Echo Cove Drive in Crownsville, Maryland.
