Attorney William Byrd of Hyattsville, MD; thieving slacker

The state of Maryland presented William P. Byrd with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to account to his client
• Failed to surrender client papers upon being terminated
• Failed to refund unearned advance fee (crook)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Rodney!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. July 2017) Billy practices with the Law Offices of William P. Byrd at 1835 University Blvd in Hyattsville, Maryland.
