The state of Maine presented Anthony J. Sineni III with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Maine School of Law.

 

The Maine Grievance Commission found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Criminally charged with assault
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Victims of misconduct were vulnerable
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
  • Charged with receiving stolen property
  • Charged with tampering with a witness
  • Improperly received and retained firearms which he knew had been taken from his client by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Violated his duties that he owed to the court, the public and his profession
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license and assessed $12,000 in disciplinary prosecution costs.
