The state of Maine presented Paul L. Letourneau with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Board of Overseers of the Bar found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct

• Engaged in graphically sexualized behavior in client’s presence
• Sent sexually explicit pictures to his client
• Sent videos of himself masturbating to his client
• Despite being told by the female client to cease and desist from sending her any texts, photos and videos, he continued to do so
• Failed to withdraw from representing client for several months after being terminated
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 16-month suspension of his law license.
