Attorney David deBlieux of Baton Rouge, LA; wife beating loser

The state of Louisiana presented Larry A. Mackey with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LDU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Arrested for assaulting his estranged wife and another man
  • Caused physical injuries to his wife and her guest and property damage to her home and vehicle
  • Davey’s actions created the potential for even more serious injuries, or even death, to his wife, her guest, or himself, and the potential for harm to his children
  • Kicked in the front door of wife’s residence
  • When he returned to wife’s home, and after unsuccessfully attempting to gain entry to her car to retrieve items belong to their children, Davey secured a cement block and smashed it through the driver’s side window
  • Davey arrested on multiple counts of domestic abuse battery, simple batter, criminal damage to property, all misdemeanors
  • Davey also charged with home invasion and entry into inhabited dwelling, a felony

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Marcus by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Davey practices at 827 Saint Louis Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
