Attorney Maria Calvo Broce of Metairie, LA; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented Maria Del Carmen Calvo Broce with a law license in 2001 after she graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Maria guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of her miconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Maria by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Maria.  

As we speak (ca. May 2017) Maria practices at 1732 Orpheum Avenue in Metairie, Louisiana.
