Attorney Gerard Torry of Baton Rouge; ethical elf

The state of Louisiana presented Gerard N. Torry with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Southern University Law School.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly refund unearned fee in 3 matters (cheater)
• Failed to place disputed fund in trust account as required
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Gerry!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Gerry practices at 516 Napoleon Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
