As we speak (ca. 2018) the population in Louisiana is 4,684,333. The number of licensed attorneys in Connecticut is 18,918. Put simply, there are well over 5,000 more attorneys running amok in Lousiana than there are licensed, practicing physicians.

The infestation of lawyers in Louisiana reminds one of the damage folks there suffer from regarding the invasion of imported Boa Constrictors.
