Attorney Andres Aguilar of Shreveport, LA; ethical ogre

The state of Louisiana presented Andres Humberto Aguilar with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to terminate representation when required to do so
• Improperly solicited prospective clients (ambulance chasing)
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Andy!)
• Neglected client legal matters

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Andy practices at 1012 Bayberry Circle in Shreveport, Louisiana.
