Attorney Guy Gardner of Burlington, KY; ethical gremlin

The state of Kentucky presented George Guy Gardner with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Salmon P. Chase Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Guy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to allow client to make informed decision
• Intentionally and/or knowingly disobeyed the rules of a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Guy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
