Attorney Louis Clothier of Leavenworth, KS; ethical leprechaun

The state of Kansas presented Louis M. Clothier with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Washburn University Law School.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Louie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in ex parte (one-sided) communication with judge
  • Engaged in discourteous conduct in degrading a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year term of probation.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year term of probation.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Louie.

As we speak (ca. June 2016) Louie practices with the Clothier Law Office PA at 529 Delaware Avenue in Leavenworth, Kansas.
