Attorney Bryan Humphrey of Ft. Madison, IA; repeat offender

 

The state of Iowa presented Bryan John Humphrey with a law license in 1981. 

 

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Bryan guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Bryan’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Failed to abide by court ruling
  • Failed to seek lawful client objectives

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

 

Bryan’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to keep clients informed as to status of legal matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to comply with client requests for information
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Bryan!)
  • Failed to provide client with required written fee agreement

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Greg practices with the Humphrey Law Offices at 627 Avenue G in Fort Madison, Iowa.
