Attorney Todd Kowalke of Cresco, IA; thieving loser

The state of Iowa presented Todd W. Kowalke with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

In one matter, Todd was recently (ca. July 2018) arrested by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation agents and charged with first-degree theft in Howard County District Court in Cresco. (Jeff Reinitz)

It is alleged that Todd absconded with more than $35,000 from an estate that he was representing and used the funds to pay for personal expenses and to satisfy his gambling habit.

All that remains now is to see how long it takes Todd to cop a plea in order to reduce the amount of time he’ll have to spend sharing a cell with Clarice (real name Clarence) at the Anamosa State Penitentiary.
