Attorney Thomas Hurd of Des Moines, IA; Dumbo, repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented Thomas Alan Hurd with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to file action as he had promised client to do

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Tommy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Tommy practices with Glazebrook & Hurd LLP at 309 Court Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
