Attorney Stephen Pugliese practices law in Pittsboro, Indiana which is a suburb of Indianapolis.
Recently Stevie Baby was charged with and found guilty of misconduct by the Indiana Supreme Court, which is more fully set forth below.
In late 2009, a lady hired Stevie to represent her in a dissolution matter. After he agreed to represent her, she paid him an undisclosed amount for fees.
Shortly thereafter, Stevie Boy begins to have a sexual relationship with her. When he was busted, Stevie refunded the money she had previously paid him. However, he continued to represent her for about two months until the she granted his motion to withdraw – I’m sorry I mean the court.
In a lame effort to mitigate his conduct, Stevie had the chutzpah to argue that he has a history in the community of providing pro bono services. Oh I bet he does, right? Kinda gives a new meaning to pro bono if y’all know what I mean!
As punishment, the enablers on the Indiana Supreme Court gifted Stevie with a complimentary 30 day suspension.
