Attorney Ruth Degnan of Chicago; ignorant loser

The state of Illinois presented Ruth M. Degnan with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Chicago Kent Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Ruth guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Ruth neglected the medical malpractice case of a couple whose 17-month-old daughter died after receiving medical treatment.

Due to Ruth’s gross negligence and/or incompetence, the client’s medical malpractice case could not be prosecuted because it was time-barred by the applicable statute of limitations.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Ruth by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Ruth practices with the McNabola Law Group PC at 55 West Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois.
