Attorney Joshua Blum of Des Plaines, IL; ethical dwarf The state of Illinois presented Joshua Blum with a law license in 2001.
The Disciplinary Commission found Joshua guilty of the following misconduct.
On three separate occasions, at the request of his brother-in-law, Joshua illegally notarized Illinois Statutory Form Powers of Attorney for Property, which resulted in the facilitation of the fraudulent transfer of property in connection with several instances of mortgage fraud or equity stripping.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joshua by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. December 2013) Joshua practices with The Hertz Corporation at 2170 South Mannheim Road in Des Plaines, Illinois.
