Attorney Andrew Carter of Wheaton, IL; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Andrew M. Carter with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Northern Illinois School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Andy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed place summons for service on opposing party for over nine months
• Negligence re: service of summons failure led to dismissal of client’s case
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to respond to client requests for their files after being terminated
• Lied to client that lawsuit was pending after it had been dismissed

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Bobby practices at 127 West Willow in Wheaton, Illinois.
