Attorney Julie Ajster of Peru, IL; ethical goblin

The state of Illinois presented Julie Lynn Ajster with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

FYI: Southern Illinois is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Disciplinary Commission found Julie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Communicated with a person she knew to be represented by counsel

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Julie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (September 2019), Julie practices with the Ajster Law Office in Peru, Illinois.
