Attorney Alan Bender of Chicago; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented Alan Howard Bender with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Illinois Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly compensated a person for recommending his services
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Alan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2016), Alan practices with Goldstein Bender & Romanoff at 1 North La Salle Street in Chicago, Illinois.
