Attorney Arthur Sutton of Matteson, IL; thieving loser

The state of Illinois presented Arthur D. Sutton with a law license in 1993.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Art guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly pay funds owing to lawful owner
• Converted (stole) $2,575 in settlement funds owed to third party

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Art.
