Attorney Steven Whitmore of Rockford, IL; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Steven Walter Whitmore with a law license in 2005.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Made numerous false statements to client re: court dates
• Failed to initially cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Stevie!)
• Failed to pursue client’s post-decree marriage dissolution matters

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (March 2016), Stevie practices with the Law Office of Steven Whitmore at 515 North Court Street in Rockford, Illinois.
