Attorney Peter Caminiti of Barrington, IL; ethical elf

The state of Illinois presented Peter David Caminiti with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to timely initiate probate proceedings after client’s death
• Continued to dissipate estate funds to pay rent on property held by the testator at the time of her death

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Pete practices with Caminiti & Caminiti at 777 Lake Zurich Road in Bennington, Illinois.
