The state of Illinois presented Roger James with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Roger guilty of the following misconduct.

In another matter,Roger engaged in a conflict of interest when he purchased the property of his former client and rented it back to her. He subsequently initiated eviction proceedings against the client for failure to pay rent.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Roger by gifting  him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Roger.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Roger practices at 512 West Burlington Avenue in La Grange, Illinois.
