Attorney Edward Balcsik of Chicago; slacker

The state of Illinois presented Edward M. Balcsik with a law license in 1976.

The Disciplinary Commission found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client advised of status of legal matter
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to provide client with written fee agreement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2016), Eddie practices at 2164 West Giddings Street in Chicago, Illinois.
