Attorney Thomas Breen of Addison, IL; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented Thomas Matthew Breen with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the Loyola University Law School in Chicago.

The Disciplinary Commission found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise his bookkeeper who was his wife
• $100,000 of client funds with commingled with personal funds
• At least $100,000 of client funds were converted to Tommy’s use
• Neglected a client’s mechanic’s liens
• Solicited a loan from a client w/o providing proper disclosures

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Tommy practices at 619 South Addison Road in Addison, Illinois.
