Attorney Richard Summers of Atlanta; ethical gremlin

The state of Georgia presented Richard W. Summers with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Mercer University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Held client’s $25,000 settlement check for 5 years
• While holding client’s $25,000 settlement check, trust account balance was insufficient to pay the client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Dick practices with the Law Offices of Richard Summers at 3023 Maple Drive in Atlanta, Georgia.
