Attorney Henry Carpenter of Orlando; ethical elf

The state of Florida presented Henry B. J. Carpenter with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Henry guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Repeatedly failed to respond to State Bar inquiries (Up Yours, said Henry!)
  2. Failed to provide competent legal services (moron)
  3. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to communicate with client
  5. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  6. Failed to comply with mandatory rules regulating trust accounts
  7. Knowingly failed to provide services for client
  8. Engaged in a pattern of neglect causing injury to client
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Henry by gifting him with a complimentary 10-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2012) Henry continues to practice in the Orlando, Florida area.
