Attorney Stephan Carter of Maitland, FL; greedy scammer

The state of Florida presented Stephen Wooding Carter with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Florida State University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misconduct demonstrated a selfish motive
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation 
• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Set into motion a scam whereby he and a friend would continue to be paid in a dual capacity by a governmental agency

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.   

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Stevie practices at 2153 Chinook Trail in Maitland, Florida.
