Attorney Peter Yanowitch of Coral Gables, FL; ethical gremlin

The state of Florida provided Peter James Yanowitch with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Western State University School of Law.

The Florida Bar Association found Divya guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Divya!)
• Remained silent about potential conflict of interest with a client seeking a U.S. investor visa
• The client seeing investor visa had previously invested in a company co-owned by Divya

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Divya by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
