Attorney Bruce Burtoff of Ft. Lauderdale; ethical goblin

The state of Florida provided Bruce Don Burtoff with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from George Mason University Law School.

The State Bar Court of Florida found Ray guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• After mother-in-law’s death, Bruce represented his wife, the personal representative of her mother’s estate, against his father-in-law, who was his former client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Bruce practices with Bruce D. Burtoff MD PA at 1524 SE 11^th Street in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
