Attorney C. Byron Stout III of St. Petersburg, FL; serial scofflaw

The state of Florida provided C. Byron Stout III with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Stetson Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Byron guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Byron Stout engaged in providing loan modification services predominantly to out-of-state clients. Byron entered into a business relationship with a staffing company to assist with handling mortgage modifications under his supervision. Byron’s representation and collection of fees from out-of-state clients did not fully comply with state and federal regulations regulating mortgage assistance relief services.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Byron by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Byron practices at 7601 38th Avenue in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
