The District of Columbia provided Karen H. Ross with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Whittier University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Adriana guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly disclosed confidences of her client and secrets of her former employer (GE) to a newspaper reporter
• Improperly disclosed confidences to U.S. Attorney’s Office for Northern District of Illinois, the government of Brazil, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Adriana by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of her law license.
