Attorney David Mintz of Lakewood, CO; thieving loser

The state of Colorado provided David J. Mintz with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged unreasonable fee (cheater)
• Retained contingent fee on Medicaid reimbursement
• Failed to inform client of delay in paying medical provider
• Improperly transferred funds from trust account to office account
• Charged clients flat fee for copies/postage rather than actual costs (thief)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Dave practices with the Mintz Law Firm at 605 Parfet Street in Lakewood, Colorado.
