The state of California provided Thomas Lee Watkins with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Western State University School of Law.

 

The California State Bar Court found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
  • Misconduct significantly harmed client
  • Displayed indifference
  • Failed to deposit advance fee into client trust account
  • Committed 20 acts of professional misconduct
  • Misappropriated [stole] client funds and used them for personal purposes
  • Failed to perform legal services competently (moron)
  • Failed to respond to client status inquires
  • Entered into improper business transaction with a client
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds’
  • Improperly withdrew from client representation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Tommy!)
  • Caused significant harm to highly vulnerable clients
  • Displayed indifference to significance of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
