Attorney Calon Blackburn Jr. of Jonesboro, AR; lying loser

The state of Arkansas presented Calon E. Blackburn Jr. with a law license in 1974 after he

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Calon guilty of the following misconduct.

Calon’s misconduct arose while he was working as a U.S. Army civilian attorney. The Department of the Army reprimanded Calon for making false statements in a report to U.S. and Qatari law enforcement authorities regarding an incident he was involved in.

During the incident, a married female friend of Calon, who was also married at the time, stabbed Calon while he was at his compound in Qatar.

Two Army investigative reports indicated that Calon made multiple false and/or misleading statements to the authorities surrounding the circumstances of his injuries to avoid disclosing that the female friend had stabbed him.

Calon’s falsehood included him telling authorities that he had been the victim of a burglary, which then caused great concern because of the possibility that security at the Qatari housing complex might have been compromised.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Calon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (October 2014), Calon practices at 1405 Elmwood Place in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
