Attorney Allen Bird II of Little Rock; ethical misfit

The state of Arkansas presented Allen W. Bird II with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Allen guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to provide financial information to parties as required
  2. Ordered by bankruptsy court to return $200,000 in fees he wasn’t entitled too
  3. Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to bankruptcy judge
  4. Failed to obtain prior court authorization in writing checks to himself for alleged fees
  5. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Allen by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Allen practices at 415 North McKinley Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas.
