Attorney Joshua Potter of Texarkana, AR; slacker, loser

The state of Arkansas provided Joshua Landes Potter with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Josh guilty of the following misconduct.

FYI: This isn’t Jimmy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two complimentary suspensions of his law license for failing to pay mandated attorney registration dues.

• Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to the client reasonably informed about the status of the matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to file notice of appeal on client’s behalf after client advised Josh he wanted to do so

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Josh by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

As we speak (ca. March 2023), Josh practices his so-called brand of law at 117 East Broad Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.
